Food and Food Processing Technology Program

There is an Agricultural Products Preservation and Storage Technology Department within the Food Processing Department. Our department aims to increase the quality and value of agricultural products offered to consumers, to make marketing more effective by minimizing post-harvest losses, and to train qualified personnel at the technician level who understand plant physiology and receive marketing training.

Educational activities are one of the primary services offered. The majority of the courses are carried out practically, and in addition to the School laboratories, various vineyards and garden areas belonging to individuals in the Lapseki region have been used for student practices.
