Business life is in great need of personnel who know accounting and tax issues and use the computer programs in the best way. Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Lapseki Vocational School Accounting and Tax Applications Program; was established with the aim of raising entrepreneurial accountants who have analytical thinking skills, problem solvers, and meet the needs of accounting or consultancy offices, accounting and finance departments of public or private sector institutions that provide services in accounting and taxation.

Goals

Having the infrastructure to learn financial accounting information, to apply the period and end-of-period transactions related to financial accounting theoretically and practically, to comprehend cost and financial information, to prepare, analyze and interpret financial statements, to make social security transactions and tax calculations, to process accounting documents able to issue declarations, recognize and use documents used in commercial life, control and evaluate the compliance of accounting data with the legislation,

Being able to comprehend the basic concepts of business management, its objectives and its relations with the environment, business functions and the relations between them, who can provide communication knowledge and skills and take responsibility and follow the innovations in the field,

Knowing the basic rules of the Turkish Legal System and the commercial legislation to which the enterprise is subject, having a good command of the basic principles and concepts of the economy, able to make commercial calculations, use accounting programs applied in the professional field in the computer environment, have knowledge about the acquisition, processing and analysis of numerical data, have the ability to work individually in the field. who have and have acquired entrepreneurial skills,

Moreover; It is aimed to raise individuals who respect historical and social values, have social responsibility, have social and professional ethical awareness, adopt lifelong learning as a principle, follow the developments in science and technology and renew themselves constantly, and gain the ability to practice their profession by following the works done in the production and service sector. .

Graduation Requirements
The language of instruction of the Accounting and Tax Applications program within Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Lapseki Vocational School is Turkish. Students who succeed in compulsory and elective courses of 120 ECTS for 4 semesters and complete their internships covering 30 working days graduate.

 
Post Graduation

Our graduate students are entitled to receive an "Associate Degree Diploma" with the title of "Accounting Professional". Graduates; He works in the accounting and tax departments of public or private institutions, financial advisory offices and the management and operation staff of banks.

Our students who graduated from the Accounting and Tax Applications Associate Degree Program must take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in order to continue their undergraduate education from the 5th semester of formal education or open education undergraduate programs.

On the other hand, those who complete their four-year education in a faculty and fulfill other legal obligations have the opportunity to receive the title of “Certified Accountant and Financial Advisor” if they are successful in the exams opened by the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants of Turkey.
