BANKING AND INSURANCE PROGRAM
The Banking and Insurance Program is an interdisciplinary discipline that aims to meet employment in national and international financial markets.
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University started regular education in the 2019-2020 academic year within the scope of Lapseki Vocational School.
Our Vocational School accepts students in the TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) score type according to the Banking and Insurance Program Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). The language of education is Turkish.
Mission
To train finance candidates who have reached a sufficient level of knowledge in the field of banking and insurance, have learned how to use this knowledge in their profession, and are highly equipped and have increased competence.
Vision
To be a pioneering department with an academic staff that has set itself a goal of providing highly equipped graduates for the financial markets, trying to keep up with today's technological changes, and closely following the current national and international changes in the field of finance and insurance.

Graduation Requirements
Students who complete 120 ECTS in total of compulsory and elective courses during 4 semesters, have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and complete a 30-day summer internship, graduate.
Post Graduation
Graduate students are entitled to receive an "Associate Degree Diploma".
Students who graduate from the Banking and Insurance Program can transfer to formal or open education undergraduate programs if they pass the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) organized by the ÖSYM (Assessment, Selection and Placement Center).
Employment Opportunities
Our students who graduated from our Vocational School Banking and Insurance Program; They can be employed in the departments of Deposit Banks, Participation Banks, Investment Banks that accept associate degree graduates, in finance and accounting departments of national or international companies, in public property directorates that accept associate degree, municipalities etc.
FINANCE PROGRAM
Finance science is an interdisciplinary branch of science based on economics on one side and law on the other. Finance examines the financial events between the state and society and the balance between income and expenditure.
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Finance Associate Degree Program was established in 2011 within the body of Lapseki Vocational School, and regular education in the 2011-2012 academic year and the secondary education program in the 2012-2013 academic year started education and training.
